# Connectors overview

> How Narrative connects to your analytics and publishing tools

Narrative has two kinds of connectors:

* **Data sources** (read-only): Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console,
  Google Tag Manager. They power impact measurement: traffic, AI referrals,
  search visibility, and conversions.
* **Action connectors** (publish): Webflow. They let Narrative apply approved
  page changes to your site directly instead of handing you a bundle.

All connectors live under **Personalize → Connectors** in the app.

## Security model

* OAuth only. Narrative never asks for your passwords.
* Tokens are encrypted server-side (envelope encryption with a cloud KMS) and
  are never exposed to the browser or to AI model prompts.
* Disconnecting a connector revokes the token with the provider and deletes
  the stored credential.
* Action connectors never inject code into your site and only write content
  you approved, at the narrowest grain possible.
