The Webflow connector turns an approved Narrative recommendation into a page on your site: one click stages the finished page as a draft in your CMS collection, you publish it in Webflow, and Narrative starts measuring impact from the exact publish timestamp.

Connect

  1. In Narrative, open Personalize → Connectors and click Connect on Webflow.
  2. Approve the request on Webflow’s consent screen. You can restrict the install to a single site.
  3. Pick the site Narrative should work with.
  4. Confirm the CMS collection where new pages should land. Narrative suggests the best candidate (a collection with a rich-text field and a published template page) and pre-fills the field mapping; you always confirm. You can also skip this step and connect the site only.

Publish a change

  1. Approve a page recommendation in the Improve tab. When the connector is eligible, the button reads Approve & Stage in Webflow.
  2. Narrative creates the page as an unpublished draft in your mapped collection. Use View draft page to open it in the Webflow Designer.
  3. Publish the item in Webflow when you are happy with it.
  4. Narrative detects the publish automatically (daily) and moves the change to Done with the exact publish timestamp. Impact tracking starts there.

Modes

  • Draft-first (default): everything above. Nothing goes live without you publishing in Webflow.
  • Publish on approve (opt-in): approving publishes the single item immediately and Narrative records the live URL. Only that item is published, never your whole site.

What the connector will never do

  • Publish your site. Only the single approved item (or page) is ever published.
  • Inject code. The connector writes CMS content only; everything it creates is visible in your CMS and fully removable.
  • Touch existing content. If a page slug collides with an item Narrative didn’t create, it refuses and asks you for a new slug.
  • Guess. If your copy contains structures your collection can’t represent, Narrative refuses and offers the bundle instead of silently degrading the content.

Disconnect

Personalize → Connectors → Webflow → Disconnect revokes the token with Webflow and deletes the stored credential. You can also revoke from your Webflow dashboard under Integrations; Narrative stops all API calls either way.
